EDWARD PAUL

Edward Paul Grogan lll is native of Galveston, TX born May 13,1997 to Edward Grogan Jr. and Lakesha Jordan. He is the spiritual son of Pastor A. W. Colbert of the Macedonia Baptist Church in Galveston, TX.

 

Edward, under the tender care of his grandmother and the leadership of Pastor Colbert accepted Christ at a young age. Thus, beginning his journey up the Kings highway. Edward, as a young man, loved to serve God openly by singing in his church’s youth choir as well as actively participation in the youth programs.

 

On November 4, 2012, after hearing a heart convicting message from Pastor Colbert entitled “Maximizing your potential” Edward stood before the congregation of the Macedonia Church and announced that God had called him to the gospel ministry. January 27, 2013 Edward preached his testimonial sermon.

 

Edward has traveled the country preaching the gospel and doing mission stopping in places such as Kenya & Israel to fulfill the Matthew 28 mandate.

He is a 2015 graduate of Ball High School and a recent graduate of the illustrious Wiley College in Marshall Texas, graduating with honors in his department. After receiving his degree, Edward had plans to move to Atlanta where is was he would continue on with his master’s degree. While home for the summer God placed it upon his heart to remain home for reasons that would soon manifest. In November of 2019 Edward was appointed to serve as Youth Pastor of the Macedonia Church.

 

In November of 2019 Edward sat down with a few members of the church to begin the journey of the youth of the Macedonia Church. From this meeting birthed the MMBC Youth I.M.P.A.C.T. Movement. With this phenomenal team God has taken the youth of the Macedonia Church to a higher level.  

Edward is the recipient of numerous awards and honors and gives all glory to God. Edward is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated as well as a member of the NAACP. Edward is an active participant in the Old Landmark Baptist District Association, Congress of Christian Education.
